Another unforgettable weekend.

Tonight, we went to see Carrie Underwood for my best friend Courtney's birthday. Her parents surprised us with box seats. It was an amazing night full of country music, good company, and her beautiful voice. During one of my favorite songs she sang, Jesus Take the Wheel, Miss Underwood broke out in How Great Thou Art. Her courage to just start praising God in the middle of Hollywood was outstanding. It was an unforgettable experience to watch thousands of people respond to this act of faith. Through our tears, laughter, and obnoxious belting of "Before He Cheats", God showed me again how grateful I am for the life I have.

I've sang this song before, but seeing her live and listening to her passionate voice gave me a newfound love for this song and the powerful lyrics. She might possibly be my hero. So thankful for my amazing life.
