Days like this

Days like this, the cloudy sky, the sidewalk wet from fresh sprinkles, and a chill in the wind makes me want to curl up by a fireplace with a good book and some tea.
But days like this also take me back to my winters in Auburn...
Days like this remind me of our simple times during those months, where we would sit on the couch, wrapped around each other, eating ice cream and watching some Lifetime movie.
Days like this bring me back to when we ran to the park in the pouring rain, sharp wind, and freezing cold, and sat in the playground equipment, just watching the time pass us by.
Days like this make me think of you.
